Next Post It’s not gonna be a good look to have a black character being a mercenary, which is what you imply by your theory. I want Finn to have a meaty arc, but it’s got to be one free of antiblackness, and for that to happen, the Resistance has to be his option. They have to treat him with the respect they treat Poe and it has to be his choice. But if this franchise uses a black man as their bludgeon, it’s not going to be cool, and it’s unfortunate you have this view of how his arc will go.
