The disappointment that never stops giving.

If you want to see how Iden’s story ends, there are cutscene movies on YouTube that take you through the story of Battlefront without having to play it.
Yes, I quite liked them! I even did a meta on how the pre-TLJ DLC did TLJ’s theme better than the movie did (link).
Tumblr won’t let me submit my Finnrey lyrics edit what do I dooooooooo argh 😩 (rktho)
Maybe it’ll calm down in time after whatever update snafu it’s going through.
Kate McKinnon’s character Debette Goldry is hilarious. Goldry is an actress from the 1950s who doesn’t seem to notice women are treated a lot better in Hollywood (or even that they were ever treated badly!) Favorite line: “What? That’s not true, there were plenty of roles for Asian women back in the day! And I played all of them!”
Paging Scarlet Johanssen…
I sympathize with prequel haters who felt the way we do about TLJ about the prequels. I do not sympathize with prequel haters who think TLJ was better than the prequels.
The prequels weren’t good movies, but neither was RotJ. They were still an earnest and loving expansion of the SW universe. TLJ was so contemptuous and mean-spirited, so full of itself that I don’t think I could have enjoyed it even if it were a better movie.
“pedophilia mention #kinda??” yes but not just because of Renesme/Jacob. Jacob is a 15 years old in the first Twilight movie and Edward Cullen is a 109 years old. Edward even called Jacob a child and spent more time acting like a dad to Bella than a boyfriend (several times he get mad at Bella bc he wanted her to go to sleep or be like “why you want to see that boy Jacob, hm? He’s dangerous!”)
Twilight is like a nested Russian doll of fucked up lmao

I CANT BELIEVE I didnt show you guys the assignment i did for my art class last year…. heres the man… the legend

i am LOVING the Twilight Renaissance
Bold of them to assume it wasn’t
And in case you wanted to know why Leia was kicked out of boarding school.
[text referring to Princess Leia from a database, likely as a bonus/flavor text in a videogame:
Letter to Senator Bail Organa:
To the Most Respected Senator Organa,
It is with the deepest regret that I must return to you your thirty-thousand credit bond, and your Princess. Our institution has existed for several thousand years. It prides itself in molding young girls from Alderaan’s finest families into young women whose behavior and decorum is the pride of those families.
However, we believe that Princess Leia is incapable of conforming to our standards. This is the unanimous decision of the Board of Directors, and was arrived at due to three separate infractions.
a) The Princess led a sit-in rebellion of students during breakfast, when they were served bottled juice instead of freshly squeezed.
b) The Princess re-programmed the PA system to play the Anthem of the Republic (in direct violation of Imperial Edict 2.33b) during assembly.
c) The Princess sliced a secure mainframe and swapped every reference to Emperor Palpatine with Emperor… well, let us just say that is is a word seven year old Princesses should not know.
Yours, with respect,
Madam Nestor,

George Lucas: This beloved character, Boba Fett, with a massive fanbase and iconic design, is a Maori man. Yoda is co-leader of the Jedi with a black man named Mace Windu, based on the original concept of the Jedi in the first draft. General white audiences: You can’t do this to us, George. Boba is supposed to be mysterious. How can he be mysterious if we can’t pretend he’s white. Also, Samuel L Jackson as a wise sage? How bad of a writer do you have to be to make Samuel L Jackson not yell all the time and swear in every sentence? J.K. Rowling: Nagini was a Korean woman the whole time! Also, Dumbledore is gay. Like, never on screen, but believe me, he’s gay, alright! General white audiences: Our queen is back again! Hooray! Like, what on earth? (Moth)
