It looks like the modifier key snafu was due to my keyboard being detected as a Virtual Keyboard due to Karabiner Elements so I needed to change my modifier keys on that keyboard in settings. One problem down, 10,000 to go.

I also hardly noticed because there was so much other shit going on, but I lost my second display again just a day after doing a PRAM reset to get it back. Lovely. Could another PRAM reset get me back my monitor and Karabiner, by any chance? I’m really not looking forward to redoing all my hotkeys from scratch. I mean I probably should be moving on to KE because the old Karabiner wasn’t supported for ages and I was holding onto it out of sheer inertia, but it’s still such a pain.

So I got my second display back by uninstalling and updating the DisplayLink driver. Now I just need my keyboard and windows management settings back for everything to work normally, but now Karabiner Elements seems to be… gone… from my system…? I didn’t like it, true, but neither KE nor Karabiner is working anyway. Idek with this bullshit anymore.

that anon is wrong about the poe fish anon referring to ackbar, they’re talking about a headcanon that some poe stans have about him having dated c’ai threnalli (the abednedo that was always with him in tlj and that he’s affectionate with on the falcon at the end). i think he functions more as a second in command to poe, tho.

The latter naming convention can be seen in K-Dramas, especially the more comical ones, precisely because it’s so goofy and unrealistic. This is distinguished from names that are general nouns on their own, which are more acceptable–a name like 김사랑(Kim Sarang, Sarang being the Korean word for “love”) doesn’t sound silly, it just makes people think your parents are either devoted Christians or leftist hippies. If you have a name like Chanmee (”praise”) or a Biblical name like “David” despite living in Korea then it’s a very good bet that your parents are devout churchgoers.

To be honest I don’t really feel venoms a syltherin Eddie definitely is one he’s very cunning and resourceful. I wanna say venoms closer to a hufflepuff but I could be wrong.
