K2 as BB’s C-3PO is so hilarious I almost cried XD I wonder what kind of backgrounds these characters would have. Jyn as the daughter of a FO scientist who worked on Starkiller Base? Cassian as an anti-Republic partisan turned to fighting the FO? Chirrut and Baze as members of the Church of the Force who escape the carnage at Tuanul with Poe’s help and meet up with Rey? Bodhi as a defecting pilot who escapes with Finn?

The way DJ talks about Snoke’s ship makes it sound like everyone in the galaxy somehow knows the specifics of this battle that’s been going on for like, four hours tops

Why was The Last Jedi a crossover? You don’t see Transformers trying to pretend like it takes place in Middle Earth, making a bunch of references to Lord of the Rings and having Gandalf show up for no reason. Like, we get it Rian, you like Star Wars, but if you wanted to make a Star Wars movie, get a deal with Lucasfilm and don’t ruin your movie with a cringe C-3PO or Yoda cameo. Heck, you even ripped off Luke Skywalker. Badly. Come on.

What if Trump is TRYING to get impeached but his pride won’t let him admit to any scandals? He didn’t want to be president at first, after all. Maybe he’s trying to become a martyr. The thing is, his supporters are already convinced he’s never and will never do anything wrong, and the people who don’t support him will never see him as innocent, so there’s no way that plan will work.

Remember when the worst thing about the sequel trilogy was that the first episode was a soft reboot of A New Hope? I mean geez, remembering that Star Wars used to be good and feeling excited that it was a modern phenomenon again… I remember when my love of Star Wars wasn’t tainted and I miss it.

Yeah, I remember walking out of the theater after TFA thinking, “Well, that was a bit derivative and not perfect, but who needs perfect or original for Star Wars? That was a great, heartfelt adventure bursting with fun and love of the franchise!” I miss that feeling. Even TFA has been tainted for me when I remember how these developments pan out in TLJ.
