See I’ve noticed something about Disney: they act like they’re bigger than god and then they make mistakes. I mean look at Star Wars right now. If it doesn’t bounce back, what will they do?

I know people worry about Disney getting too big but even still, if Disney continues to make mistakes and fire people, it could come back to hurt them. Not to mention they want to be appealing to creative people too.

It’s not like creative people will start turning Disney down because of its terrible policies, especially as it becomes the only game in town. They’ll just fit themselves into Disney’s boxes. That chilling effect is what I’m worried about.

Jaes Gnn did sexual joke tweet about Justin Bieber when Justin was 16 (James already was 40 years old when he tweeted all these jokes). He also joked about his friend “killed a whore in Mexico” etc. People called Jmes Gnn out for sexism and racism several times in the last years, especially how he treated Mantis and in GotG Gamora is called a “green whore” (there’s several bad sexual jokes in GotG)

I feel like it’s slightly different since Twi’leks have human faces and bodies and the only difference is the lekku. Whereas Mon Calamari skin is rough, webbed, and their faces aren’t remotely human. But I guess Sy Snootles and Ziro were a thing, so what do I know.

Ohhh that! I don’t see a problem personally, dumail is a fully sentient person (link). SW doesn’t seem quite as interspecies relationship-happy as Star Trek, but it’s happened in canon esp. with human men and Twi’lek women. I don’t see how it’s any worse than Kanan or Lando having relationships–and in Kanan’s case, a kid–with tentacle-headed women.
