I need advice: I’m 24 years old and I have bpd that make me feel depressed all the time ruining my life. Now I’m trying to go to a college course but I think it’s too late and I’m too old to try anything (I started to go to a journalism course years ago but I noticed it was not the right class to me). I don’t know what to do… Sorry for my bad english, I’m latino but I’m learning the language on Duolingo

I would certainly not have known English was your second language, it’s very good! I don’t know much about BPD and am not qualified to give psychiatric advice, and I think the advice I can give will have only limited effect–I can tell you that it’s not too late and you’re not too old, and you probably know that intellectually, but you may need help believing iti. Are you getting treatment for your BPD? Do you have a support network?

“I think we may follow Kylo Ren through Episode 9 and see him become the hero.” Whyyyyyy Star Wars Theory whyyyyyy… At least he realizes he’s not a hero already… Well, as long as he’s not erasing Finn or shipping Reylo I suppose it’s fine for him to be mistaken about Kylo’s future… though come to think of it I can’t remember the last time he mentioned Finn, although he focuses more on the prequels than anything…

Fandom’s fixation on white heroes to the erasure of nonwhite, especially Black heroes sure as hell isn’t limited to reylows.

My WIP begins with a wizard performing a spell to erase all time up to a certain point so he can regain the upper hand by using knowledge of the previous timeline to change it. He is stopped from entering the portal as the spell activates. Flash forward to the beginning of the story, which tells everything leading up to it, until the wizard performs the spell. Only now we learn that wasn’t a flashback, it was a failed attempt to execute the spell, which reset time without keeping his knowledge.

Time travel stories make my head hurt lol. Is the wizard caught in a time loop here?

True, but the First Order didn’t coalesce for a few years, and I don’t think that the treacherous Centrist bloc did much until the Populists had already implemented their terrible constitution. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were able to spin Populist weakness as a reason to grow their own ranks either. I won’t say the Populists were worse for the galaxy than the traitor Centrists, of course, but I will say they were worse than the loyal ones.

It’s ironic that even Leia, the most prominent member of the Populists, saw the value of a strong centralized Republic and ran for Chancellor.

So to recap all the horrible stuff I heard this week, someone tried to assassinate left-wing political figures with pipe bombs and then proceeded to open fire on a Jewish baby blessing, and Brazil elected the most obviously fascist person ever, whose first act was to sieze books on fascism. Am I missing anything? Please don’t tell me. I don’t want to know. Why do we live in a world like this?

I’m coping by reading a novel about the literal end of the world lol I don’t think the human species deserves to exist anymore

I’m mad that Rian didn’t give Loan anything funny to do. She got her start in comedy, didn’t she? But she was so serious the whole movie except when she was fangirling over Finn for five seconds. But I guess no one in TLJ actually made a joke except Trollmaster Jake and Po Mama Soe Dameron Easy. Everyone else was just the butt of jokes. Not one clever quip in the whole film from anyone.

RJ tries so hard to be funny but he comes across as unserious instead.
