To my fellow conservatives: if we can trust that the left can now recognize actual Nazis, can we please stop worrying we’ll get assaulted by Antifa and join the fight against white supremacy? These people don’t deserve to be heard any longer and if violence is the answer so be it.

Conservatives are people I disagree with. Nazis are an existential threat. Violence is only justified in the latter case, not the former.

Im sorry to say left-leaning politics doesn’t preclude fascism. Fascism exists happily on both ends of the spectrum, not just the right. Wherever the extreme becomes the majority, fascism follows. I hope Korea can stay moderate. And I hope the American people can reverse the tide of the alt-right in the midterms.

Yeah I know that, depends on the flavor of leftism I guess. If the leftists in power stay true to their commitment to free expression and human rights, then by definition their administration cannot be fascist. If political freedom is suppressed in the name of leftism, on the other hand, all bets are off. I think that’s what you mean by extremism? Don’t fuck this up, America.

One of the Asian characters in Ready Player One died too. Can’t remember if it was Daiko or Shoto but they pretend to be brothers online until they became as close as real siblings and then one of them was killed in real life by the villainous corporation trying to take over the game. Anyway they were secondary characters so the death of one of them was definitely fridging. They should have had bigger roles.

I find that I’m less attracted sexually to people I’m romantically attracted to. Is this normal? I’m not sex repulsed (although as a virgin I can’t be completely certain how I feel about sex, but I’m not as excited for actual intercourse as the rest of the relationship.)

It’s not usual, certainly, but I don’t have the expertise to tell if it’s normal or not. It may be that you’re asexual and this shows itself more clearly with people you’re romantically attracted to, since culturally and psychologically sex is a more immediate prospect with them than the general population of the gender or genders you’re attracted to. Or maybe romantic attraction and sexual attraction really are inversely related for you. If it becomes a problem in a relationship you should talk it over with your partner, and maybe get couples counseling if you’re in it for the long haul–although therapy in general and couples counseling in particular can be a landmine for aces, so be sure to research the therapist first.

Obviously, if you encounter a gang of Nazis, punch the heck out of them and run. But punching a Nazi who hasn’t attacked anyone physically makes them look sympathetic. With all the Nazi-backed politicians in the government, we can’t afford that. But again, if you’re immediately threatened by Nazis, or you see someone else being threatened, you deck those suckers if you can. Shoot them even. They deserve it. But make sure you can make a good case for self defense if you get sued.

Nazis are threatening by the beliefs they espouse and the actions they advocate. Their gaining power is a threat. Their gaining a platform is a threat. Tolerance for those who call for genocide is intolerance against the people they threaten.

I don’t believe in being physically violent to Nazis unless under immediate physical threat from them, but I would never listen, politely or otherwise, to one. And I always report Nazis and alt-right trolls whenever I encounter one. Physically attacking Nazis helps their cause and paints their opponents as the violent ones, giving fascist lawmakers an excuse to crack down on Nazis’ enemies rather than Nazis themselves. That’s what the original Nazis did when they faced opposition.

I appreciate that you don’t listen to Nazis. They don’t deserve a platform, or debate. That said, I do believe in physical violence against Nazis–to break up their rallies which are direct threats to marginalized communities, to publicly expose their leaders as weak laughingstocks, and, if it comes to that, to destroy their organizations and remove their leadership.
