So today I got out of my house for the first time in three months to go to a music of Star Wars concert my local symphony orchestra was putting on. I bawled during Leia’s theme (didn’t help that the 21st was her birthday) and they let a bunch of kids in costumes have a little parade while they played the Imperial March. There was this adorable toddler dressed as R2. On the way out though this daughter of a hutt was complaining about it, saying it ruined the experience. I almost fought her.

We can’t ruin the sanctity of the Imperial March now can we? That’s a time to reflect solemnly on the glory of the Empire. Seriously what is that chick’s problem. Looks like you went to a great show though, and I’m remembering that “daughter of a Hutt” insult for later 😂 Happy birthday Carrie, I look forward to seeing you on screen one last time 😢

I asked the Ben Shapiro question. I’m not cowardly or hateful, I just don’t have a Tumblr. Somehow the fact that opisrussianonmain isn’t American escaped me, I don’t know how. It wasn’t RBG related— I agree with her on goywashing. I was just curious. If I’d known she wasn’t American— I apologize for not checking— I would have known not to bother. Sorry about that.

Idk if she’d have known about Shapiro even if she were American tbh. I have a pretty broad knowledge of American politics (I lived in DC, sue me) and even I had to Google him.

about that ask that pointed out that aliens in Canto Bight looked so caucasian, that was one of my complaints on this movie. So many varied groups of aliens already available, in so many shapes, forms, and colors. And RJ decided to use none and instead went for that bland as f*ck palette.

Yeah they’re so visually monotonous I was confused by my how repetitive my own screenshots looked. The number of women with white/very pale hair, the clothes being mostly black, white, or grey, and the repetition of design elements like lace make what should have been a visually vibrant scene colorless and bland. But then again this is the director who thought an all-red throne room scene was a brilliant choice, so a strong sense of color and visual dynamism just isn’t his strength I guess.
