Like I get why reyl0s refuse to acknowledge the torture scene is mind rape but its still jarring to see a bunch of so called english majors denying such an obvious parallel. He tells her he can take whatever he wants and then forces his way into her mind, it ain’t subtle. And the way they insist JJ’s quote is debunked is so gross. Yes technically we don’t have a direct quote from JJ but why would that poor women who’s dying husband got an early screening have made that up??
Just like a translator on a Chinese entertainment website would jeopardize their job by making up a fake anti Reylow quote by Daisy, a grieving widow would totally lie about JJ’s words for no reason whatsoever. That’s how dedicated we anti reylows are!
And this is exactly why I want to see a Kylo origin story, because there are so many gaps here. I can see how he could have developed a savior complex and decide that the Republic was worthless, but there’s a lot of missing detail that I would find very useful for analyzing him.
Maybe you’ll get your wish, since fandom is so fixated on him. I just want more Finn content.

The lengths people go to in order to try and show that kylo is not responsible for his actions as an adult are staggering. He’s an adult who had a normal childhood with a loving family – his actions when he is an adult are his choice. Sorry to say but some people can come from happy families but choose to do bad things. Not everything is the parents fault.
Also like, I understand that people are influenced by their parents and other caregivers and still they remain fully responsible for their choices, but you can’t just argue backward from the fact that the person made the wrong choice to their caregivers doing something wrong. That’s a circular argument that assumes the conclusion.
