Tbh that shot of Finn just chatting it up with Nien at the end of TLJ is so important because all his life Finn was shunned by his peers and now he’s in a totally new place with totally new people and he’s being treated like one of them and having regular conversations and being included in the larger group and just having normal social interaction and it’s what he deserves! He’s waited his whole life to belong and thought there was something wrong with him but then he leaves the First Order and it just happens?
I have no idea why but I just love the idea of them being obsessed with bubble gum. Finn would find the wildest, most out-there flavors and Rey would stuff packets of it all over the place so she could lay her hands on some whenever she wanted.

According to Tolkien, Faramir was “modest, fair-minded and scrupulously just, and very merciful”. He mentioned once that he did not invent Faramir, though he liked the character very much. As a soldier in World War I, Tolkien connected himself with Faramir, who only loved swords for “which they defend”. Among the characters, Tolkien wrote, “As far as any character is ‘like me’, it is Faramir”.
