@thescarletmuse I’ve had this happen before, it’s probably a hatefollow to dig up receipts. I mean they can still do that if they want, block or no block–it’s a public blog after all–so I don’t block hatefollows as a matter of course. If people want to see stuff on their dash that makes them unhappy, let them. But there are people I never, ever want to interact with regularly, and this person is definitely one of them.

As far as I can tell, the only times I’ve actually initiated contact with reyyylos–especially younger ones–is when they’re derailing posts or crosstagging. That’s bad manners, plain and simple, and how would they know to do better unless they’re told they’re doing wrong? And I’m certainly not going to just smile and nod at people who contact me first to be rude, no matter what their age.
Now if I’m wrong about this and I’ve actually gone out of my lane to pick on young shippers that is clearly out of line on my part, and if you can point out such instances I’ll apologize and not repeat such incidents. Nowadays I don’t really even bother contacting them for the most part though, I just screenshot and mock like I know they did with my posts.
Suddenly reylos are babies who must be treated with kindness no matter what when their whole thing in 2015-2017 was talking about antis’ lack of maturity and them being mid to late 30s and older themselves?
God i love how reylos pick and choose whatever the hell they decide to be upset about and run with it just like they pick and choose moments in canon to accept and ignore.
It seems to be a new party line with them in their creepy hive mind way, because shortly after putting my exact age in my header I think I was told like four times in the space of a week to act my age. At least one of them, a 19 year old, took the trouble of getting in my inbox to very condescendingly tell me to act my age and stop shipping Finnrey which, haha, no hon.

I once unfollowed someone on tumblr because they were talking about “my birthday is in 10 days” on June 19th and when I did the math turns out they were a cancer, so I unfollowed them
I also unfollowed someone because they said they don’t like coconuts and that was really the last straw for me.
Last summer at one point I unfollowed every person with a hyphenated URL

I unfollowed someone because of their obsession with Dacre Montgomery was getting on my last fuckin’ nerve.
I unfollowed due to untagged shipping stuff (Reylo and Damerey) that I had no way to filter. For one ship (Finnrose) I unfollowed sight unseen, didn’t even check if it was tagged.
Welp, @silveritemine blocked me and I returned the favor. If it’s true I had blocked them before I hope it sticks this time.
