Do you know where can I find r*ylo blogs? like… is there a list or something? I hate this ship so much I could explode, I need to know who should I avoid on this site (i’m new in this fandom). If you could also recommend me some blogs that also hate r*ylo that would be awesome!

captainamericagf:

oh i totally understand your pain lol to answer your first question i don’t know any lists or anything but the best way to avoid r/eylos is to go through the r/eylo tag and block everyone in it. that’s what i do and i now have very little contact with them.

for the second part if you go through the anti tag there are a lot of really great people there but ill list some off the top of my head: @badships @dahanci @nutheadgee @inkstorrn @diversehighfantasy @lj-writes if you’re also an anti feel free to like/reply/etc! im missing a lot of people lol

I block the shippers that bring their ship/anti anti stuff into other tags, especially the anti tag. But for completeness’ sake, blocking everyone in the #reylo tag is probably best. On desktop blacklisting the #reylo tag may also help, though not for posts that are written by reylos but are not explicitly ship-related.

Thanks for the mention! I can also think of @lesbianrey, @kyberfox, @aimmyarrowshigh, and @finnobliterateshux. and oh, so many more.

Calling All the “older” Tumblrs

Looking for people ages 25+ to follow.

Looking for any and all content.

Shitblr, Fitblrs, Music, Personal, Fandoms, Random etc. Etc.

All I need is for ages 25+ looking to connect and make friends more on my age level.

No offense youngins, I enjoy following yall and chatting, but it’s a bit harder to connect and find us Oldies.

So, please keep the post going, reblog if your 25+ years old.

If it’s not too much to ask, could you not use the tag for dissociative identity disorder? People like me use that tag to find resources and other people like me with DID, and it makes it harder to do so when there’s fandom themed things in there…

Not at all, anon! I’ve removed the DID tag, and for good measure multiples and plurals as well. I’m very sorry about my inconsiderateness, I’m not always clear on the boundary between tagging for my own purposes and what might show up in the general tags. I’ll be more careful in the future.

Bruh I need more anti reylo blogs to follow got any recs.

gah my brain freezez whenever i have to make a list of sth
mmmmm my personal faves that have amazing content and are anti-reylos would be @mylongestyeahboyegaever, @saintalia also @lj-writes always posts stuff that are either entertaining or educating to read
i also see nice posts from @badships @reylo-more-like-reyno @diversehighfantasy @porgsitter @senatorfinn i know some of my friends are anti reylo but i’m not sure if they post content specially against it @daisyridleys and @ben-solo

if you want to be added to this list please like it i can edit and add your name asap

Awwwww thank you so much! Also @lesbianrey is funny and awesome, @kyberfox posts A+ meta, speculation, and SpiritAssassin content in addition to being anti, and @toga-vibes hits it out of the park every time!

For another dedicated anti blog there’s @youcouldnthavepickedaworseship for your anti reylo venting and commiseration needs.

The “Best Stuff” feature is really bad, it makes me lose a lot of activity. Usually, even when i don’t post a lot i still get around 300 notes per 3 days. Now i’m barely reaching 100 notes per 3 days (and i haven’t lost followers or changed anything). and this feature is killing artists and people who generate a lot of content in general, because super popular blogs get even more seen but smaller blogs lose almost all visibility

I feel this so much. And it hits every type of creator.

I write mostly metas these days but usually they can get a few hundred notes. The last couple I’ve posted since this rolled out can’t even reach 100, most knocking about at 30-40.

It’s one of those things that’s making me look elsewhere. Pillowfort looks promising even if its still in beta. But next wave of invites for those who sign up is late November, that is this month, so I’m going to check it out.

This place is certainly fast losing the appeal.

On a tangent, but I’m wondering if this is the tumblr version of strikethrough? Like, they’re not exactly deleting blogs but they’re making it so much harder for fandom creators to get their things out and about, and fandom has never been afraid to move on when on place became hostile to it.

i saw people speculating that tumblr put this feature so that they would get more money : companies (and maybe even people idk) could pay them to have their stuff in the “Best stuff” category and be hyper visible.

instagram did that a while ago (except that you can’t disable it there) and tbh i hate using it now.

This is the first time in over a year that I thought of going back to LJ and DW, tbh.

are you on ffnet? i recognize ur url but i can’t put my finger on it

My FFN handle is entirely different–I’m Lunatique over there, though none of my SW stuff is over there and it’s a giant mess overall. I’m ljlee with mirrored journals on LiveJournal and Dreamwidth, which have likewise not been updated in a while. They’re also mostly centered around Avatar: The Last Airbender.

You may have seen another L.J. Writes around the internet–I know there was a series of posts under that title by somebody else from when I checked, but it was quite a while ago even back then so I went ahead with this url and handle.
