I think it’s pretty much established that Ferengi are very queer–someone pointed out the title of the book, Oo-mox for Fun and Profit. Oo-mox is only or primarily done on male Ferengi for pleasure, basically PG-rated sex, and only males can earn profit in traditional Ferengi society.
