Anyone have thoughts about this? I mean maybe I’m not one to talk, I did recast Rey as Kawennáhere Jacobs in my alternate sequel trilogy after all, but I’ve also seen racebends of Rey being pointed out as racist.

John Bogeba and Letitia Wright are close friends in real life and John had already played Idris Elba’s son in Pacific Rim 2.
Plus they all have contracts with Disney. John through Lucas Films and Letitia and Idris through the MCU.
Throw in Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, the Mandalore and you’ll have all of my money.
Seriously bringing back Boba Fett and making Finn’s homeworld Mandalore, a plant in the outer rim, the outer rim that Finn almost went to in TFA, makes perfect sense.
The mandalorians can be allies to the New Republic, an irony since they were once their biggest enemy in the days of the Old Republic.
Finn’s homeworld and family, an issue that was brought up in TFA but ignored in TLJ, can finally be solved. Plus making Finn Mandalorian would make sense for a character who’s a natural born warrior.
Bringing back Boba Fett, a fan favorite character and portraying him close to his Anti Hero self like in the EU will make the old canon fans happy and Lucasfilms Films can see if fans want more of Boba Fett. Plus there’s no one really left from the OT alive.
Finally the Mandalorians are one of the best things about the EU and putting them on the silver screen would be legendary.
BTW Mandalorians are not blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skinned humans. The Mandalorians are more of a culture than an actual race that has one look. Mandalorians can be any color of skin. Just had to say that for the people who hate Jedi Finn, or Finn being anything that isn’t a blaster shooting Everyman.

I’d love to see Taraji P. Henson or Viola Davis as Finn’s mom.
I think Viola would be hard due to her contract with Marvel but I think Taraji would work.
Some thing I love about Mandos is that their just a culture of badasses but they don’t care about gender or even species. It’s all about honor and strength.
It’s like Samurai, Viking, and Wakanda culture all came together and made a baby.
