Again, I know I don’t speak for all Christians, but neither does that anon, so whatever. I always saw the passages in Proverbs describing Wisdom as both a woman and with God at the creation to mean God is Wisdom, and the idea of God is sometimes described as male, sometimes female, but is ultimately beyond chromosomes and gender, and human writers applied the pronouns. Plus, the Holy Spirit bears similarity to bat kol, or the Daughter of the Voice, and the first Christians were Jewish. (Moth)

Hmm, can’t comment on similarities to the bat kol or the first Christians being Jewish, since I’m not versed in that history. Were the early Jewish followers of Jesus actually Christians in the modern sense or did they consider themselves a new sect of Judaism? Idk. Christianity definitely owes its existence to Judaism, but there’s been a lot of drift in both faiths since the days of Jesus the Nazarene.

As for the rest, yeah, I think it’s totally valid to read God as masculine and feminine at various times, or transcending gender altogether. Gnosticism, for instance, definitely saw Sophia (Wisdom) as a feminine aspect of God.

I’m not even that big of a fan of Harry Potter, but I liked your post so much I drew up these. Young Rey on the streets and Young Finn as a Death Eater.

Easter Eggs
-Unkar Plutt becomes Uncle Plutt, the Troll crimeboss.
-Rey is in Knockturn Alley, but she thinks she has no magic, and is thus highly loyal to Plutt.
-Finn’s adoptive brother Slip dies in his arms shortly before his first day at Hogwarts.
-Finn’s Death Eater mask is based off from the First Order stormtrooper helmet.

Idea for an Alternate Sequel Trilogy comic book. When Mandalore Fett decides to help the New Republic, he decides it’s time to bring the band back together. All of the old bounty hunters are retired, and have embodied different retired stereotypes. IG-88 is a hoarder. Bossk is a bingo enthusiast. Dengar is trying to stay cool, but also keeps adopting baby animals (a reek in his arms). And 4-LOM and Zuckuss are the couple that got married late in life. In the movie, only their ships would show up, but in the comics, Boba would be getting them in for “One Last Job.” (Moth)

Some leaders of the Tatooine alliance. I don’t have any names, but some characteristics. The Hutt helped the locals take over his family’s empire on the planet. Hutts still live on Tatooine, but they aren’t in dominant power. They were kind of ostracized from the family due to being born with multiple disabilities, and they thus know what it’s like to be treated as lesser than unlike most hutts. This hutt’s not evil, but still holds a typical hutt’s snobbishness, even if only as an act. Despite that, their legitimate businesspersonhood allows Tatooine to stay free from the crime Rings it used to house.

The Tusken Swordsman and his Sniper daughter. They represent a desert dwelling clan, and are talented hunters and warriors. The father is a compassionate leader, though overly protective of his daughter. The daughter is more of a hardened warrior type, but still likes to express her femininity on rare occasions of peace or victory.

The Jawa is a tech guru, who has helped bring her band into the post-Imperial world. The sandcrawlers that are used in the Battle of Tatooine are her designs, and the Jawas of her band fit more of the Silicon Valley stereotype instead of being traditional merchants. Her daughter is the Jawa that owned the toy Finn carries on his belt. (Moth)

I initially thought Jyn/Hadder was way worse when I first looked it up. Hadder was 16 when they met about four years before Rogue One. Since Felicity Jones is in her thirties, I kind of freaked out about how on earth Disney would think that’s okay. Apparently Jyn is supposed to be twenty-one in RO. Questionable about why Disney feels the need to have heroes be in their twenties, but it’s better than what I thought. (Moth)

Omg 😂😂😂 yeah that would have been awful. You’re right, Jyn is listed as born 21 BBY and RO took place 0 BBY, so she was 21 when she died. I’m critical about casting older actors play much younger characters, especially teens. Like you said, why not just have older characters? John Boyega in Attack the Block is one of the few actors I can think of who was actually age-appropriate for a teenage character and also absolutely crushed it with his performance.

Luke’s new Jedi Temple in Cloud City. It’s a lot more humble than the Academy from the Prequels, as it focuses on spiritual enlightenment rather than militaristic deployment. Though grass doesn’t usually grow this much on Bespin, a Force experiment created rather lively soil. Lando bought the building next door, so the two can meet for lunch. (Moth)
