How does that prove we don’t care at all I think Finn is a great character and why would it be bad to ship Rose and Finn together

Because Rose harmed Finn specifically because she thinks he’s in love with Rey. She seems to have wanted to cause Finn pain just because of this alone. (That’s what the novelization confirms.) This is an extremely disturbing idea to romanticizing, and an unhealthy start to a relationship.

You don’t care about Finn if you want him to be in an abusive relationship, and you don’t care about Rose if you think Rian Johnson’s treatment of her (Making her the stereotypical jealous girl with a crush) is okay either.

What?! What?! This is so upsetting I just can’t…

“The embracing pair separated, if only to look into each others eyes”

-TFA novelization, finn and rey “platonically” gazing into each others eyes at star killer base

that feeling when you gaze into your brothers eyes.

Who else would beat the shit out of someone who described them and their brother’s hug this way

gendrie:

“My name is Rey.” This time when she smiled, all traces of the hardened, desert-dwelling scavenger melted away. It was a sweet smile, he found himself thinking. Warm. He repeated the name, enjoying the way his lips parted as he murmured the single syllable.

“Rey…”

He would have said much more, but this time it was the ship itself that interrupt.

this couldve been taken from a romance novel istg

“This time it was the ship itself that would interrupt.”

For a second I thought this referred to a million Finnrey shippers squeeing in unison, startling them.
