Rey literally searched through the snow to die next to the man she had at at max met 48 hours ago, yet she still adored him more than anything.

I repeat, instead of fleeing or trying to find any safe way off the planet, Rey made the choice to die on the soon to be destroyed planet because dying next to the only person who had ever come back for her meant more than living a life never knowing that type of devotion again.

Rey didn’t try to find the Falcon.

Rey didn’t try to wave any other ships down with her rave glow stick.

Rey definitely didn’t try to save her dumbass cousin who was bleeding out in the snow!

No, Rey chose to to lay down next to the boy she had grown to adore and die with him. She had accepted her parents were never coming back to Jakku she whatever home she could of had was right in front of her.

This is why Rey is a Skywalker. She would endure and go through anything for the person she loves.
