I know there are many Star Wars ships and everyone defends their fav ship until it officially sinks. All I ask you all is to read this glorious work and admire that fact it has great writing and works well to portray the characters to fit the story. Not to mention despite it being one of the less popular ships this is a great work and to my joy it’s not a modern au. (Sorry people but I hate modern aus…)
But now I ask that you help me hunt down the writer and beg them to continue this fic! Please for my ever growing love of Star Wars help me convince the writer to continue this amazing thing I’ve discovered!
1. What the fuck
2. Why the fuck did you put this in the finnrey tag? Do you like baiting people into looking at rapefic?
Here’s the tags for good measure. And Pokemon? You piece of shit, that’s a kids franchise even more so than Star Wars. you’re straight up exposing minors to rape fic and not even so much as giving them a warning?
You’re a vile excuse for a human being and I hope you have a miserable life.
They’re straight up trying to trigger people. I’m going to wait for reylos to call this gross and vile behavior out since they always claim to care so much about the safety or rape and abuse survivors, though I won’t hold me breath while doing so.
Pokemon?! Holy shit. Also #marvel, #cats, #dogs, and #harry potter, all tags frequented by minors. Go deep-throat a cactus, OP.
And you’re right Mara, you can’t hold your breath that long. You’ll asphyxiate…😨
@lj-writes, it’s a beautiful thing that you get your undies in a bunch about fiction but you’re willing to wish serious injury on a live person. Perhaps reconsider some of your ethical choices.
Wow, some rando time out of their day to @ me and say they don’t care about minors being baited into reading rape stories but do care about the online harasser’s poor widdle feelings.
@lj-writes, I’m not “some rando,” I’m a fic writer and a fan who’s sick and tired of seeing other creators of art and fic being bullied by the likes of you. Nobody is baiting anybody into reading anything, and, once again, it’s you who are wishing serious physical harm on live human beings.
Children should not be going on the internet without adult supervision. And if someone is so fragile that a trigger warning triggers them, then they need to stay off the internet as well. Oh, and maybe not read or listen to the news. Which, you know, often describes the traumatization of real actual people and not fictional characters.
I note with interest that you didn’t even have the nerve to address me directly.
Bullying? Yeah, when you stray out of your lane and don’t keep tagging basic etiquette then you get put in your place. Look at you, bellyaching about the fee-fees of someone who puts a Star Wars rape fic in the fucking Pokemon tag, then blaming kids for potentially accessing an improperly tagged fic.
And cry me a river about your “physical harm”–all that fic writing and you can’t recognize a figure of speech, wow. I suggest you stop doing that if you can’t comprehend the basics of tagging.
Lmao I reblogged directly from you as even you must be aware, I just didn’t think there was someone there worth addressing directly. But since you’re so thirsty for my attention, here it is: You’re a troll who doesn’t comprehend the basics of internet manners. Stop wasting my time and get out of my notes.
@lj-writes: “Figure of speech,” that’s adorable. So the cruel things you say are harmless somehow?
If you’re so goddamned concerned about children, maybe do something for them in the real world, like advocating for universal health care. Or tutoring in underserved communities. Or advocating for good pay and decent working conditions for nannies, who so often have to leave their own children behind in order to earn a living. Or you might lobby for lead testing in municipal water so that more children don’t wind up brain damaged like the children of Flint. But I’m sure it’s much more satisfying to give yourself props for attacking people who are making art and writing stories that you are choosing to look at.
The internet is a public space, like it or not, and children too young to be exposed to adult material should not be out there unsupervised. That’s on their parents or guardians, not on me or any other adult on AO3 or elsewhere.
Yeah, you’re a bully. You’re a bully and a hypocrite and a lazy-ass self-righteous wanker.
If you’re unmoved by gross predatory invasion of spaces frequented by children but so in your feels when someone tells said gross person to basically fuck off (which I suppose is a rape threat now?)–then that shows where your sympathies lie.
Wow, this long-ass sermon because I want people to keep untagged rape and, really, off-topic stuff in general out of the tags. I’m sorry that no one has introduced you to the concept of walking and chewing gum at the same time. I.e., it is possible to care about real-life causes and online etiquette at the same time. Shocker, I know!
Tags exist for a reason. Use them correctly. Sure, children should be supervised on the web, AND adult material should be tagged appropriately (and on subject in general. Seriously, why are you so rabidly in favor of tagging Star Wars material Pokemon?). Again, it’s possible to do both, hard as it might be for your simplistic mindset to comprehend.
Hey everyone, wanting people to tag properly and getting angry that someone is purposefully exposing children to a rape fic is bullying now. Going out of your way to expose children to a rape story, on the other hand? That’s awesome.

I tried to watch Bahubali: The Beginning and it was such a hot mess I couldn’t. At first I stopped because Bahubali was repeatedly assaulting the woman he had a crush on, painting henna on her while she wasn’t looking, stripping her clothes away against her will until she looked more “womanly.” This was clearly framed as romantic and endearing, making me really uncomfortable.
My husband tried to lure me back, swearing it got good after that part and the battles were ridiculously fun and exaggerated, so I tried. I was actually kind of enjoying the over-the-top action scenes, the reveal about the protagonist’s parentage and their past political intrigue, and then they got to a big battle and…
Excuse me, blackface? The enemy, a roving tribe who have no goal or strategy except plunder, slaughter, and rape, are a horde of people in fucking blackface? Who speak a click language, which with one exception is only found in Africa? This is against a background of really virulent anti-African racism in India, too. There are mob attacks against Africans at the slightest provocation, they are regularly called monkeys and cannibals, and entire theaters of Indians made a hit out of two movies (this one and the sequel) that are so openly and overtly racist.
My husband could tell I was upset, and yeah, I was and still am. It’s the biggest joke when people ask me why I care so much about racism against Black people. Take the “Black” out of that sentence and you can see what an inane question that is. It upsets me to see entire groups of people dehumanized, amazing! Another joke is, “It’s just fiction!” Fiction is created by real people, and it always interacts with the real world. The movies might be fiction, but the racism is real.

LF: This character is forced to be some villain’s girlfriend!
Me: so she’s his sex slave or what???
LF: she’s not wearing a bikini though, so it’s… feminist!?
Me:
AND she tells Han that she doesn’t feel worthy of his love because of all she’s been through for three years, which is you know, a rape victim for all these years. Which fucking YIKES, that really reads like “I’m no longer “pure” and you deserve a woman who hasn’t been tainted by a man other than you”.
And he’s not even giving her a deep speech about how that’s nonsense?
Apparently he does, he views her as a victim who he couldn’t save (again her primary purpose in this movie is for Han to “save” her), but she ends up leaving him in the end because she doesn’t feel worthy of his love. Instead of, you know, a storyline where they could have actually given a female character agency and had her been an ambitious career woman who prioritized climbing up the crime syndicate ladder over her relationship with Han, they made her a kidnaping victim/sex slave who only leaves the male hero because she doesn’t deserve him now that she’s no longer pure.
Upon reading the spoilers, it actually really comes off like LFL/Kasdan were catering to the dudebros who worship Han as a masculine hero who would be upset at him being dumped by an ambitious career woman. “The only way a woman could choose not to be with Han is if she doesn’t think she deserves him!”
No, y’see, she *chose* (under duress) to become a mobster’s
‘girlfriend’ and that automatically makes it consensual, how dare
critics be misogynistic by calling her a rape victim!!!!!!!
^Pretty sure that’s how people with a very warped view on ‘feminism’ will defend the writing.
Yet again, the price of adventure and danger for a woman is captivity and sexual violence while for a man it’s more adventure and, eventually, love. Like we haven’t seen this a thousand times.

Recent events on my campus has a lot of faculty at my college suggesting that every time we see something in the “free speech zone” saying something hateful, we should just ignore them and walk peacefully past. I understand where that logic comes from, and it’s true that one of the guys who shows up all the time is clearly seeking attention, but I can’t help but feel this is a somewhat privileged response to that kind of presence on campus. If you’re someone being “preached” against, there stands to be a lot of psychological damage in seeing that rhetoric in your place of learning go unchallenged by anyone. It feels far more comforting to see other students enraged at that person’s message and arguing with them about it, no matter how ineffective it might be on that person directly. It’s a powerful social message and it seems like a lot of people discount the power of that.
Yes!! It’s not only a privileged reaction, it’s an oblivious and harmful one. Verbal aggression against marginalized people is, at heart, a test–a test whether you can go farther without pushback. I read about a study that says in an environment where verbal sexual harassment goes unpunished sexual violence is likelier to happen. If you as a group show yourselves to be okay with bigotry in verbal form, congratulations, you’ve shown you don’t care about women, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBT+ people, and disabled people. You have broadcast that this is a safe space for bigots and those who agree with them, and that the bolder bigots can proceed to attempt violence.
Push back against these shitclowns. Give them hell. Tell the people they preach hate against, you are not alone and we will fight for you. Tell the haters, you will find no easy prey here. Doesn’t mean you have to waste time with their nonexistent substance, but you can counterprotest, you can raise “I’m with stupid” signs, you can drown them out, hell, you can sing opera like one awesome guy did. Show these moldy walnuts for the jokes they are.
Are there going to be violent reactions from some? Yes, but the thing is these people were going to be violent anyway. They were just going to be violent against the specific groups they hate, and now they’re lashing out because they realize their targets have allies. Take precautions, but if they throw the first punch? Better for them to be outnumbered by good people than be able to isolate a vulnerable target. Better if they get in trouble for striking someone privileged than get away scott-free for an attack on someone more marginalized. That’s the right way to use privilege. If you want to be an ally, if you want to be a good person, sometimes you put your body where your mouth is.
Man that’s super valid. I’ve been approaching sexuality and romanticism as separate because I do think humans are that complex, and I think it’s completely legit to be romantically attracted to your same gender but not sexually attracted to anyone. I mean, that’s why ace and aro exist, you know? We make the labels we need for ourselves and if those are your labels, that’s valid. They’re certainly not mutually exclusive.
There’s this lie going around that identifying as both gay/lesbian and ace is somehow inherently homophobic and stigmatizes gay sex. This is because some exclusionists evidently choose to interpret asexuality as a judgment on themselves like what kind of puerile it’s-all-about-me egocentrism… Yes some individual aces are judgmental assholes who interpret their sexuality as moral superiority. I’ve gone through that phase myself. So? Is that the standard for protecting and including a group now? That everyone in it needs to be a nice person? In that case I have some bad news about every single letter in the community alphabet soup.
It’s also really cruel to call aces and aros straight and exclude them from the LGBT+ community because aspec people, once they are out or outed, are NOT treated as straight. They’re told they’re missing some vital component of being human, that they’re sick, that they just need some good sex* (read: assault) to be fixed.
And now it’s gotten to the point where aces are scared or hesitant to identify as such–I’ve gotten a similar ask, too. Mission fucking accomplished, aphobic exclusionists. I hope you know you’re pulling some of the same bullshit homophobes pulled on you, making people question their experiences and identities. I hope it makes you proud.
You really didn’t have to make this about the discourse, you know. You really didn’t.
someone: sometimes I feel awkward saying I’m ace in the gay community because people make me feel invalid
y’all fucking weirdos: can you believe the STIGMA against aces in the LGBT community aces are out here getting SEXUALLY ASSAULTED* (NB: this has literally never happened) for being ace you GAYS are just as bad as homophobes
Did you read the op where the anon is being told they’re straight even though aces do not have access to straightness? And yes, shit like asexuality being inherently homophobic IS something that’s going around in exclusionist circles and it is an unfair stigma against aces.
I also recommend reading my actual post, where I said “aphobic exclusionists” (which is by no means inherent in being gay no matter what you’d like to believe) pull “some” of the same shit homophobes pull. Nice job trying to blow that up to gays being as bad as homophobes, lmao. If it’s not okay for homophobes to tell gay ppl that they don’t know their own experiences and identities, how is it okay for gay people to say the same to asexual people? Is it because you’re a hypocrite who thinks sexuality gives people moral immunity? Sure seems like it.
Also nice job calling ace people who have experienced sexual assault for their orientation liars, asshole. Because you were obviously there, and are the expert on their lives and traumas. Why do you feel like it’s okay to call this particular class of rape victims liars when you hopefully don’t believe the same of, say, lesbians who were raped for their orientation? It’s almost like there’s a stigma or something! Imagine that. 🤔
