Being trans is not special or fun.

You need dysphoria to be trans.

Being cisgender is great.

Being trans is not your aesthetic.

Truscum/transmeds are the only ones who really care about trans people.

Hopefully, people like Skye are still a minority.
If you have gender dysphoria, I hope you will be alright. You can always talk to me if you feel bad

Also, sorry for my English mistakes

“Truscum/transmeds are the only ones who really care about trans people.”

Never mind that that’s not true; it’s outright manipulation of vulnerable people.

anyway, skye is a boy and i support him way fucking more than i would ever support truscum

I fixed it.

@vince-dafreak anyway you dont get to play god and decide peoples gender for them and you being a trans man doesnt give you authority over others peoples presentations and identities!

THANK YOU FOR FIXING THIS POST YOU’RE BLESSED

Truscums: wants you to hate yourself and kiss cis people’s asses

Trans people: want you to love yourself, dysphoric or little dysphoria

reblogging for the fixed editions.

Support all trans people. Not just the ones you think look right.

Not our job to decide what somone else’s gender identity is. It’s for them to decide.

This post has been improved 1000% since the first time I saw it

Not that dysphoria is necessary for being trans and also truscum can go fuck themselves, but even on their own terms the OP was saying Skye has dysphoria? I mean it literally says in the picture he got a binder.

Also this idea that being transgender has to be some kind of sickness or suffering seems transphobic of itself. Many trans people do have dysphoria, but being trans is not inherently some sort of curse, like wtf. Notice how OP says being cisgender is great but has nothing good to say about being transgender.

yeah basically. tho someone can have a binder without being dysphoric, sometimes, it’s a big hint. cuz that stuff is costy and hurts ur back lol u dont wear it for fun but for comfort, yeah.

and frankly dysphoria being caused by being misgendered and having our gender mocked and invalidated (by ppl like op, for example), it comes and goes. we’re not born with it but it happens to grow too often, and it doesn’t go away with transitionning like truscums love to lie about to reassure themselves. only self-love, and therapy when too serious, help.

nerdgul, seraph-s, you’re the real deals out here. the edit of the original image looks better than it, ffs.

and skye is basically saying the same thing as damian but with less words but okay.

et vince, ducon de mes pompes pourries, il serait temps d’arrêter d’être un lèche-cul fragile  de la sofec, hein !!!

Good info, thank you. Also there’s the blatant gender role policing and cissexism in the op, like “you must be THIS masculine and also pass as cis to be a real man.” It’s such a mess on all levels.

something i feel doesn’t get highlighted enough when we circulate sylvia rivera’s “y’all better quiet down” speech to the crowd at what would become Pride in ‘73 is that one sentence where she talks about trans women who’ve gotten out of jail, who want to “fight…to become women of the women’s liberation”.

like, that’s such an insight and so valuable when we look at our history, and it flies so boldly in the face of people who claim trans women have had no role in the various women’s movements, gay movements, and so on–or have the temerity to say that we’ve actively hindered it. like, the evidence that we’ve been here the whole fucking time alongside gay men and women at the very least is right there on tape. to say nothing of stonewall. to say nothing of the compton’s cafeteria riot.

and rivera makes it so clear how much of a one-way street that was and continues to be. despite all that work on the street, all that direct action, all that investment not in a liberal “revolution” but in gay power–no one wanted to do anything for these women, who, when they needed help finding housing, healthcare, jobs, etc “write STAR, not the women’s group. they do not write women. they do not write men. they write STAR.”

and god damn if that dynamic hasn’t filtered into today’s politics. like, we’re still doing heavy lifting, we’re still taking the biggest hits from the state, from reactionaries, from anti-gay activists–and some gay folks are for real still out here trying to talk about how transition is and trans people are innately ‘anti-gay’. like, that takes so much nerve and deserves nothing but resentment and anger and direct action in response.

Gender and pleasure

hobbitsaarebas:

So much of the Euro-American understanding of being trans (or anything other than 100% constantly identified with your assigned gender) focuses on discomfort.

Some people take this idea to an extreme and claim you can’t be trans unless you hate your body and want every surgery available to you. As many other writers have said before, that’s not true. It’s perfectly possible to be trans with only mild dysphoria or none at all. It’s perfectly possible to be trans and have a mental map of your body that looks just like the one you already have.

But I’d like to push even harder against the idea that trans=discomfort. I’d like to offer this: sometimes the exploration of one’s gender can be motivated by pleasure rather than discomfort.

Let me give an example. Let’s say there’s a person named Cal. Most people think of Cal as a boy, and Cal’s all right with that. So far as Cal’s concerned, a boy isn’t a bad thing to be. But sometimes, Cal likes to imagine being a girl and being treated as a girl. Those fantasies are always accompanied by feelings of pleasure, satisfaction, anticipation, and warmth. Eventually, having had these thoughts for years, Cal asks people to use ‘she’ pronouns in private and to refer to her as a girl. Cal does this for another year before claiming the label “trans”.

Some people would say a person like Cal can’t be trans because there’s no dysphoria, self-hatred, distress, or even discomfort. There’s just a pleasure-based preference. But why is distress necessary? Why are trans people supposed to be defined solely by our pain and self-hatred?

It’s my opinion that defining trans people solely by discomfort is an aspect of transphobia. The idea behind trans=discomfort is that being anything other than 100% cis is so awful that no one would do it unless the alternative were unlivable. Think about that: defining trans people solely by their experiences of discomfort means believing that being trans is so awful that only misery could drive us to it. And to me, that sounds like the thinking of someone who really hates trans people.

So I’ll come out and say it: sometimes transition or self-exploration of gender is not just about lessening discomfort, but is about improving and deepening the pleasure we take in our lives

the moon is a lesbian and she hates terfs

the moon told me personally that she thinks you’re obnoxious and hopes you never get a girlfriend

I have a theory that the moon IS a trans woman cause she’s always associated with feminine things but when we saw the craters that look like a face we called it “The Man In The Moon”. She’s a woman with a face that people may perceive as male. She’s a beautiful trans woman

the moon is a beautiful trans woman who hates terfs and shows her face every night to remind other trans women they are beautiful and strong and loved and important and wonderful and that terfs and their opinions dont matter

I wanna add to this if it’s ok?? In Hindu mythology, Chandra, the moon, was originally thought of as a male deity. However, as time went on, symbolism involving the moon and the name “Chandra” itself became identified with femininity, with beautiful girls being described as having “moon-like faces,” with their dark, long hair reminding lovers of the midnight sky, and names like “Nilaa” (”moon” in Tamil) and “Indu” (in Sanskrit) are now pretty much now completely girl names!

AlsO Chandra is married to 27 wives, who are all stars. The moon is a trans lesbian and is gay for all the stars in the sky.
