[Twitter user Ashlin! @/psykylogist Poe Dameron is actually a living anarchist and y’all insist that he’d treat Rey better than Ben? The only thing that man has higher than Ben is his kill count…]
I like how they think “anarchist” is some kind of count against his character. Maybe they’re using it interchangeably with “terrorist?” (Terrorism and extremism are common talking points against Poe, I wonnnnder why.) I may not like Doomerey but I do enjoy how hilariously threatened Reylows are by it, maybe because it’s still better than their ship despite being a whole lot of nothing. It used to be Finn they used to accuse of killing more people than Benny, funny how it’s Poe they’re attacking now.
For extra amusement points watch this person being torn apart in their own comments section and get all pissy 😂
Wow… Lando’s return isn’t about him but a means to bring Han back in a ridiculous plot development… which would totally destroy the emotional resonance of Han’s death and walk back Kylo’s most dramatically impactful crime… I’m so utterly surprised fandom would pull this shit… the shock…
To acknowledge that a dark skin, fully “black” features is beautiful would be to relinquish those years of constant torment of black women. Furthermore, her characteristic and personality clashes with the assumption of dark skin women are rude and brash. They can’t even attack her on her personality traits nor her physical appearance, therefore she is an automatic threat.
Also, let’s acknowledge that it has been Black Women but also a white audience who have have acknowledge Lupita. I think that says a lot.

The funniest baggage complaint I ever heard of happened in Latin America, where the airline took out consigned luggage, a dog, at a stopover only to discover the animal was dead. Fearing a complaint, the airline somehow got a dog that looked just like the dead one and put it on the continuing flight.
Second tweet in thread:
The passenger, on picking the dog up at the arrival airport, was adamant that this was not their dog. The employee at the airport, knowing nothing of what had happened, said that was impossible. The passenger informed the employee that they had brought their dead dog home to hold a funeral. So how did it come back to life?
They tagged Daniel Jose Older, too. Said they were cowards.
LOL, another big name jumped into talk about how absurd it was that a SW author was being harassed for saying that the Empire and First Order are bad which got 3 K likes: https://twitter.com/red3blog/status/1027785714723954693. People are finally waking up to how toxic this fandom is and that the toxicity goes far beyond white fanboys like many have previously believed.
Welcome to our world, everybody.
I feel like this is something that is at the foundation for some of these Reylo stans : this belief that they’re bad people for liking the villain, and their inability to separate their identity from that of fictional characters. This idea that if you like a “bad guy” then that means you’re bad too, is a specifically juvenile way of looking at fiction.
It’s purity wank, the exact thing they accuse antis of. Most “antis” are fiercely critical of SW and have no problem acknowledging issues with works or ships they enjoy. Reylows on the other hand seem to believe that everything they love has to be morally upright, or at least not over the top problematic, if they are to be good people. They SAY it’s fiction and it doesn’t have to be morally right, that the ship is a kink etc., but in the next breath they’re busy woobifying and justifying Kylo Ren and the FO and expounding on how perfectly appropriate their “kink” is for what they also insist is a children’s movie.
