J.J. Abrams Reveals Nazi Origins of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Villains

Okay so apparently people don’t believe me or others when we say that the First Order are basically space Nazis. Here is a link to a direct quote on the subject.

Are we good now? Can you understand why people don’t want these Star Wars villians being treated as misunderstood babies?

And since people keep being gross about this anyway: JJ Abrams is Jewish. Lawrence Kasdan is Jewish. They are unreservedly allowed, as Jewish artists, to write and design stories that are analogs of Jewish experience and use the fantastic to symbolize their own oppressors. They have every right to be as overt or subtle as they want, too – and they went explicit as fuck, so stop ignoring/minimizing their intentions.

They knew what they were doing when they wrote Phasma and Kylo leading stormtroopers in a pogram against an impoverished village of religious outsiders.

They knew what they were doing when Hux gave a Space Nuremberg Rally.

They knew what they were doing doing when, instead of showing their Space Genocide from outside, we watched the Hosnian victims’ dying, horrified faces – unnamed and unknown, but important.

They knew what they were doing when they decided Kylo’s prize trophy was human ashes.

Furthermore, none of the major actors playing FO characters (Driver, Gleeson, Christie, or Serkis) are Jewish, so regardless of fictional Ben Solo’s fictional heritage – which was an intentional choice on the part of his creators when they wrote him as a poster-boy for the FO/gave him a fucking templar cross for a lightsaber – you’re never “calling a Jew a Nazi if you compare Kylo/Hux/the FO to neo-Nazis!!1!”

Denying Jewish artists the agency and legitimacy of their own stories is gross. Don’t do it.

Don’t talk over Jewish fans who keep fucking pointing out that they’re overtly Nazi allegories.

And for FUCK’S sake, stop stanning fucking Nazis.

(I’d also venture to say – the reason JJ and Rian view Kylo so differently is because, as far as I know, Rian is the goyest of goyim.)

Reylos that want to compare Kylo Ren to Snape can have that comparison if you ask me.

You think that Kylo/Reylo is just like Snape/Snily? Okay, great, that means that Kylo’s attracted to Rey but Rey knows he’s a jackass that wants to murder everybody she’s ever cared about and she’ll tell him to fuck off and leave her alone and then he’ll be sad and do something good before dying, but he won’t do anything good because he has good morals, because he does not have good morals, he just knew that the woman he had a creepy crush on would’ve wanted him to do that one good thing. He won’t be redeemed because he’ll never see the error of his ways, but a bad writer may act like that is redemption even though he only ever did anything good to make himself feel better (to get rid of his feelings of guilt).

And Rey will go on to marry Finn, somebody who actually loves and respects her. And she will never feel like she owes Kylo anything because he’s legitimately a bad person and she was only mistaken when she thought he could be a good person.

I’m okay with that parallel.

It’s SO FUNNY (ie ironic, ie racist) that Finn is painted as being the one and only character with infatuation issues when it’s like… exactly the opposite lmao, every character who has spent extended periods of time with Finn is helplessly enamored with him, sometimes to a fault

Rose? Toxically obsessed with him, abused him when he didn’t fit her idealized version of him she had in her head. Literally infatuated.

Rey? Begged him not to leave Takodana and then had a Force vision when she felt like he abandoned her. Wanted to LAY DOWN in the snow and DIE next to Finn at Starkiller. Infatuation? Probably not but that’s some pretty extreme attachment.

And yet these assbags are like “Finn is obsessed with Rey!!!!! HashTagReyloForever!!!!!!!!” and like uhhhh no lol Finn is one of the only characters in the main cast to show healthy levels of attachment, even though his dysfunctional unbringing could easily have ruined him for relationships

When he asked Rey to go to the Outer Rim with him, she said no and he didn’t ask again and he accepted her decision and told her to take care. When faced with either blowing up Starkiller Base OR immediately rushing to save Rey, Finn chose to help Han and Chewie shut down the shields first. When faced with the option to hold on to Rey’s tracker and run with it once he got to Canto Bight, Finn chose to give the tracker to Poe and go on the mission, risking Rey’s safety and his own. Finn loves Rey but he’s not infatuated, he respects her decisions and he knows the universe doesn’t revolve around her.

Anyways, tldr, if we’re talking about infatuation amongst the main characters of the ST, Finn is like the last one yall should be concerned about, thanks

I’m not trying to be rude or insensitive, but stop framing violence that non-Black people of color face with any mentions of Black people. Just talk about your cause. Don’t compare the cause to Black people, don’t compare the visibility your community has to Black people’s. Just talk about your cause lol. Black people are not your oppressor or the reason your community has no visibility. Stop making us your scapegoat.

AFRICA IS UNDERPOPULATED.

The idea that Africans are starving and dying because it’s overpopulated is simply not true. Looking at the natural resources Africa has to offer, this idea doesn’t even make sense. The fact that people still believe this in 2017 is extremely upsetting.

Africa accounts for 20% of the world’s landmass, yet its population only account for about 16% of the world’s. While Asia accounts for 30% of the world’s land mass, with 60% of the world’s population.

Europe only has 6% landmass, but almost 10% of the world population. Looking at population density, Africa has an estimate of 90 people per square kilometre, against 250 in Asia, and 190 in Europe. If we’re being real, Europe should be considered the most overpopulated.

So, tell me why… Africa is constantly bombarded with people from the West pushing the agenda to stop population growth in Africa… if it’s not to take advantage of Africa’s natural resources? I’m just saying.

I mean… Africa IS the richest continent in the world in terms of natural and mineral resources. Africa outsold every continent out there in this department and has been undefeated since forever. The West has been trying for centuries to get rid of Africans, destroying any and everything, for the sole purpose of taking advantage of its riches.

Let’s not talk about the abundance of fake ass non-profit organizations, the numerous assassinations of presidents funded by the West in order to keep corrupt presidents in power, the continuous looting of the West and debts forced upon Africans.

You know… Some people African countries are still being forced by countries like France to pay colonial taxes? Is that not messed up? But for one dollar a day, eh? But this isn’t just Europeans, the Asians are hopping on this trend as well, subtly but surely.

I don’t want to keep popping up on your dashes, so I’m just going to leave you with this quote from the former president of France, “Without Africa, France will slide down into the rank of a third world.”

This alone says a lot.

maybe-this-time:

Everyone always wants to talk about Hook or Pan. Everyone always wants to debate which one is good and which is evil – who we’re supposed to follow and who we aren’t. The Peter Pan mythos has pretty much shrunk down to nothing but Hook and Pan (Hook, SyFy’s Neverland, Pan, OUAT, etc). Occasionally Tinkerbell factors in (Hook, Disney’s Tinkerbell, OUAT, etc). There’s one character, however, that always gets sidelined – which is puzzling since they are the main character of both the play and the book. That character is, of course, Wendy Darling.

Peter Pan is Wendy’s coming of age story. Wendy who decides to run away from home. Wendy who realizes that she must grow up – and that there’s no shame in that. Wendy who sees Peter as deficient and sees Hook as empty and decides that, no, she doesn’t want to be a part of that. Wendy gets the adventure she’s always wanted and she turns away because she realizes that it’s lacking. She’s the only one who truly sees the hollowness of being young forever. Barrie even says “You need not be sorry for her. She was one of the kind that likes to grow up. In the end she grew up of her own free will a day quicker than other girls.”

People always debate on who the hero is. When they learn that Peter could be horrid they assume it has to be Hook. Of course, the answer is that neither of them are the hero. Wendy is the hero of the story. You’re not supposed to be like Peter, who kept every good and bad aspects of being a child and can’t tell right from wrong. You’re not supposed to be Hook, either. He let go of everything childish and loving about him and became bitter and evil. They’re both the extreme ends of the scale. You’re supposed to fall in the middle, to hold onto the things about childhood that make it beautiful – the wonder, the imagination, the innocence – while still growing up and learning morality and responsibility. You’re not supposed to be Hook. You’re not supposed to be Peter Pan.

You’re supposed to be Wendy Darling.

enough with this benefit of the doubt bs. we have given hollywood the benefit of the doubt for years and look how far it’s gotten us. john went out of his way to make it to the celebration only for lucasfilm to ignore and snub him there. they have snubbed him from advertisements and interview.

white fans need to take a step back and stop telling us “to give it the benefit of the doubt” like we haven’t had to hear that all of our damn lives.

why don’t YOU give US the benefit of the doubt and actually listen to our concerns instead of trying to silence minorities just because as a white fan you get the privilege to ignore this shit and just “enjoy yourself”.
