In fact, you can believe homosexuality is an abominable sin and STILL treat gay people with respect instead of demonizing them for their sexuality. God may have said homosexuality is wrong, but nowhere did He say homosexual people are evil and should be hated. He said love everyone.

Yeah, these far-right Christians are just hateful and my dad is an asshole in general lol. There is a LOT of debate over whether God actually said homosexuality is an abomination, though. Maybe the Christian God did, but Jewish people whose ancestors actually wrote the verse and have been discussing it for millennia have a very different take. All the anti-TLJ YouTube videos, while good videos with good criticisms, are primarily made by racists and sexists who whine about feminism and SJWs and don’t care about characters like Finn, Poe, Rey, Rose and Leia. It doesn’t help that all the racist and sexist “fans” were the loudest in their backlash, there’s since been a backlash to the backlash, and there’s all these pro-TLJ YouTube videos made by “liberal intellectual” types. Both sides ironically ignore the racism and sexism of the film.
