They claim to be villain fandom but what they really do is insist he’s not the villain lmao. They also keep saying he will have a redemption arc but spend much of their time insisting he didn’t do anything wrong–so why does he need a redemption arc? They contradict themselves at every turn.

I don’t think that Star Wars works for 45% of Disney AU’s regardless of the shipping just because of how OOC The characters have to be, and almost most of the stores the older Disney movies like beauty and the beast and The hunchback of Notre Dame have sketchy implications no matter how you look at it. Esmeralda can’t be Rey, and making Finn beast? Yeah… how about Anastasia or Rapunzel? Those scream Finnrey. Atlantis the lost Empire? Nerdy Rey drooling over Prince Finn? TREASURE PLANET!

Yeah, regardless of what reylows insist, Star Wars and Disney animated movies are very different beasts. @ anon who submitted the droid university posts and incorrect quotes post on Jango/Boba, I don’t think these posts are a good fit for my blog and won’t be posting them. The parts about L3-37 are potentially sensitive and could work better on another blog with a different readership, and the Jango and Boba post seems better for submission to @incorrectstarwarsquotes rather than this blog, which has always supported the Fetts being Mandalorian.

I’m actually pretty meh about the Reylow, you know, ship and let ship and all, but not I just want it to be nuked from orbit in the most humiliating way in the next movie.

I haven’t blocked nearly enough of these idiots so I’ll probably get a good flavor of their reactions even without the trouble of unblocking.

A lot of Reylo fan theories make Finn and Poe into ooc monsters. I get why they do it, because they know for a fact that Finn is an established possible love interest for Rey and a lot of people ship Rey with Poe, but why do they give them the negative traits that Kylo clearly has? Kylo is possessive, violent, hot-headed, and disloyal, but they ignore all that in hopes of his redemption. When they give them to Finn or Poe, suddenly their actions are unforgivable. Do they demonize Rose too?

It doesn’t only go in one direction–they like to project Finn’s positive qualities in particular onto Kylo. They find the actual character of Kylo unpalatable and wish he were someone better, more like Finn, and displace Kylo’s awful traits onto perceived threats. I’m pretty sure they don’t demonize Rose, more like turn her into a cute morality pet who says fighting fascists is as bad as being one uwu. They “love” her for supposedly killing Finnrey lmao.
